Nice place to grab a beer and a bite to eat. Beer was cheap. A multi topping large pizza was about 20 bucks before tip. Friendly staff. 4 stars because I love St. Louis style pizza but this was below average, crust in the middle was soggy and the outside was burnt. It was served on a plastic cafeteria tray which was interesting choice. Would love to come back to try a pizza with only one topping or the burgers.
One of my best childhood memories was late night pizza from BJ's with my cousins (back in the early to mid-70's) . My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Now I'm living in West St. Louis county so I haven't been able to enjoy this great pizza in many years.
Nothing fancy inside but I wouldn't want it any other way. The decor has not changed much over the years which is great.

This bar doesn’t serve blacks or vets don’t go there or you will be treated very very very rudely and talked to very badly by kitchen manager. He is pure poor white trash! They offer no solutions for the visually impaired veterans with parking except where to exit!

Been going here 40 + years now since my parents took us as kids. Pizza quality and taste is as good as it was back then. Sma e recipe as far as I can tell.
Still reasonably priced pizza, food and beer.
