I used store pickup for a couple of items. When I got there I had to still wait in line (even though my items were already paid for). They had to search the store for them and turned out they didn’t have my items in stock. I had to choose a substitute which is fine but I should have been notified prior to showing up and waisting my time. The manager even got involved and never once addressed me personally he just pretended as if I wasn’t standing in front of him putting his employees in an awkward situation.
Worst home depot ive ever been too. A lady by the name of lisa was very rude to me. She barley acted like she even wanted to help me out. She had a bad odor maybe she was just unhappy with her life, making 10.00 dollars a hour and she is in her 50s. Ill never go back unless she is fired. If i do come back im bringing my grandma to kick her ass
Found great employees with very good knowledge of the store location of product unfortunately price matching was not available on appliances extremely overpriced on washing machines and dryers compared to Lowe's
Went in with the idea of my project and an employee named "Kendrick" made the idea reality!
He was as enthusiastic and excited about my project as I was...from cutting the wood, to brainstorming ideas, and even bringing what I needed from all the aisles. He was great! I went in scatter-brained but left with a unique and fun DIY project. I rarely see that level of customer service anymore and I sincerely appreciate it. Will be back to see you with pictures of the finished project.
I also recently went in to this home depot because I chose them for a laminate hardwood flooring project. I was referred by everyone to an employee named "Jim" who was not only knowledgeable but extremely thorough. Went over all prices and details making good recommendations along the way. The people here are awesome.
Good selection and store layout. This is the Home Depot I go to most often. However, the customer service desk could use some work -- employees there often seem to be slow and not well trained. Restrooms tend to be dirty. The store down the road at Halls Ferry and 270 is a lot better on the customer service side of things -- people there really go out of their way more to help than at this location. Unfortunately, I've seen some near-incidents take place in the parking lot of the other location so I usually go here because the area feels considerably safer.
