The jewel of the Florissant Parks system, St. Ferdinand Park is spacious and beautiful with lots of activities. There are multiple playgrounds and pavilions, a lake for fishing (handicap accessible), gazebo, tennis courts, and a large loop for jogging, walking or biking. Paved trails can take you under Lindbergh Blvd to historic St. Ferdinand Shine or up Humes Ln to Sunset Park all the way down to the Missouri River. Live music at their free outdoor summer concerts. Stop by on a weekday evening to watch an amateur softball game and then grab a bite to eat at Ruiz's Mexican Restaurant or Culver's, both within walking distance.
It's a beautiful park. It's a great place to walk my dog. It's a good size, the park is always clean. There are sports played here someti.es, so you can watch the games or just enjoy the scenery. There is a nice lake, with lots of ducks and geese there. It's well worth the visit.
I love this park. It's always something going on there. Very family friendly. Lots of little areas to find a spot with the kids to play and relax
Nice areas to walk around, places for picnics, playing games or sports, and playgrounds. Great place to take the kids.
Alot of people walk the park on the roadway. It's approximately 3/4 mile around. There are 3 playgrounds, a duck pond, 5 covered picnic areas, a tennis court and 6-7 baseball fields. During the summer they have free outdoor concerts.
